Role


As a Technical Copywriter, you will be responsible for planning and writing high-quality technical content across different media platforms, improving our brand visibility, facilitating customer service, and working closely with the marketing team to run campaigns.

The candidate should have experience in writing technical content and be familiar with IT security-related topics. He or she must have excellent written English skills. We support flexible working hours and remote working, both in and outside the United Kingdom.


  • Permanent (UK), full-time: Up to £34k per annum + medical insurance. Fully remote candidates are welcome.
  • Contract positions (UK and worldwide) will also be considered.


Responsibilities


  • Write, organise, and review technical content, including but not limited to the following publication contents: Technical and promotional blog posts, Technical and promotional social media posts, Main website content, Customer's help site, Technical knowledge-base, Technical briefs, Case studies
  • Think creatively in increasing our visibility, always looking for out-of-the-box content material that engages clients and improves brands' visibility.
  • Research IT security highly technical topics in-depth in order to develop material based on them.
  • Conduct continuous content review of internally written technical content about Labs and Vulnerabilities in the platform.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends in the information security industry to ensure content relevance.
  • Work together with the leadership and marketing teams to inspire new ideas and promotional content
  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Analyse competitors' activity.


Qualifications


  • An impeccable grasp of the English language.
  • Proven record of written content in the IT industry.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with writing-aid tools such as ChatGPT and Grammarly.
  • Knowledge of collaborative development tools (e.g., ticketing systems, GitHub/GitLab, basic terminal commands, Markdown, YAML, basic HTML) is a huge plus.
  • An excellent communicator. You’ll make complex technical information easy to grasp.
  • Current knowledge of the IT market and the Cyber Security industry.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences of all levels.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
