Role: Sales Team Manager

Salary: £36k basic, £60k ote (uncapped)

Location: On site - office based in Manchester

Industry: Financial Services/Car Finance


This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and recognised automotive fintech provider, based out of multiple locations in the Manchester region. They have a vibrant and inspiring environment, focusing on delivering a world-class service and successfully serving 10,000 customers already in the UK.


The business has the backing of an award-winning private equity fund, who only focus on investing in high growth technology companies. They also partner with one of the largest UK automotive marketplaces.


The aim of this role is to effectively manage a team of junior sales team members through KPI setting, goal motivation, performance management & collaboration with managers across other divisions.


This is an office-based role and will require 2 weekend days per month from which you will have a day off during the week

Requirements:


  • Proven sales management experience - ideal candidate would have 18 months + sales management experience in a high activity sales environment.
  • Hands on approach to management, coaching and development.
  • B2B or B2C sales management experience
  • A positive attitude - A positive and resilient attitude individual who will consistently perform at a high level to meet and exceed targets.



Day to day responsibilities:


  • Drive sales across your team working towards KPI's
  • Ability to identify training needs to improve performance
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the management ream to ensure success and a positive influence.
  • Delivering coaching sessions to your team
  • Acting with a high degree of integrity putting the customers at the heart of the process.
  • Managing a team of around 14 sales executives in a fast paced environment
