Agora Talent are partnered exclusively with one of the fasted growing retailers in Europe as they look to hire a Corporate Finance Manager - Investor Relations. This newly created role will jointly report into the Director of Investor Relations and the Corporate Finance Director and will have significant exposure to the most senior stakeholders in the business.


The role:

  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of analyst models, in collaboration with the corporate finance team, and preparing consensus analysis related to these models
  • Review Group forecasts and performance, highlighting areas of interest vs. external expectations
  • Development of investor communication, including drafting and finalising results reports, presentations, and the Annual Report
  • Overseeing the collation and analysis of information to support results materials
  • Preparation of market analysis, which may include peer reviews, key market statistics, and relevant news updates
  • Developing and reviewing financial models within Excel for a variety of purposes. Such examples include DCF models for the brands
  • Support the Corporate Finance team in respect of transaction support and due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, and fundraisings as appropriate
  • Act as the conduit between Investor Relations and Finance team to ensure joined-up messaging and approach
  • Communicate market sentiment to internal colleagues including presenting consensus outcomes to key Group finance teams
  • Creation of supporting analysis for CFO


About you:

  • ACA/CFA Qualified with at least three years capital markets background with experience gained at a top-tier investment bank, consultancy, big four or within a large corporate
  • Comfortable building complex financial models, with very strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Motivated self starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders
  • Experience working with and understanding company valuations
