About the Pub

This characterful 17th century pub was fully refurbished in 2019 and has a warm and inviting interior that any pub would love to have. Two separate bars enable a vibrant drinking trade alongside a more relaxed dining clientele. With feature fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and a mixture of tiled, carpeted and wooden flooring the "Woolly" has it all. WSith the location on the High Street in Stonehouse there is a good footfall to gain trade from during the day.

An adequately sized, and fitted, kitchen gives scope for a varied food menu to appeal to a wide cross section of the community.

To the rear is a safe and secure patio area that is a real sun trap in summer and can seat up to 50 people. To the front is a car park for customers to use.

Surrounding Area

Stonehouse is a town situated 3.5 miles from Stroud centre and has real community feel with some 8,000 residents making up the population. The Woolpack is ideally located on the high street in Stonehouse with a miriad of stores attracting shoppers and Wycliffe Preparatory School and college is just a short distance away.

Other amenities include a train station with direct links to Paddington taking just 1.5hrs. The M5 is just five minutes drive away giving superb links to Bristol and the South West and also Gloucester, Cheltenham and Birmingham to the North.
