Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Design Technology to inspire and educate our students from September 2024. This is a full-time position that will run until the end of the academic year in July 2025. The successful candidate will primarily teach GCSE Product and Graphic Design, with a small component of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Product Design and Graphic Design, adhering to the GCSE curriculum.

Incorporate a small amount of Engineering into the curriculum.

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.

Assess, track, and report on student progress.

Contribute to the development of the Design Technology department and participate in extra-curricular activities related to the subject.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience in teaching Design Technology at the secondary level, specifically Product and Graphic Design.

A passion for technology and design, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
