We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team providing exceptional service to our customers at our flagship store KEF Music Gallery based near Oxford Circus. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and committed to providing a world class personal customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate products in a confident and engaging way with the ability to translate the key features to all levels of understanding. As an ambassador for the KEF brand and values, the core responsibility of your role is to build quality customer relationships.


Working Hours: 3 days per week at 21 hours per week (excluding breaks)



Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide product information, recommendations, and support the Sales team with demonstrations to customers
  • Ensure the smooth running of tasked operations in the gallery and provide support in the café as required
  • Maintain a neat and tidy store environment, including restocking shelves and displays
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback with patience and empathy
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve key operational KPIs including sales targets, people resources, waste etc and deliver excellent customer service
  • Support with the organisation of gallery timetables and resource management
  • Implement and follow store brand guidelines and display requirements
  • Ensure all store guidelines and procedures are followed
  • open and close the site using following checklists and procedure
  • cashing up and reconciling the cash register system daily
  • managing stock, ordering and deliveries
  • Inspect and maintain the equipment in the shop and inform any issues to the Technical Sales or Store Manager
  • Always maintain a safe workplace and adhere to health and safety legislation



Skills and Competencies


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a love of sound and audio
  • Strong customer service with a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Previous experience selling a luxury or high value products would be advantageous
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Good numeracy skills for handling transactions
  • Attention to detail in maintaining store appearance and product displays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to learn and comfortable learning and using new technology
  • Responsibility for standards at the site, ensuring a high standard from start to finish of the customer journey
  • Health and Safety compliant
  • Flexibility is essential; early mornings and some evening work is required for events
