Company Description

BOB: Band of Brotherhood is the 1st Friendship App for Men, connecting individuals with mates nearby who share similar interests and life stages. The mobile app curates tailored offline events for members to meet up and also allows users to create their own events. BOB provides a space for men to engage in online discussions and chat about relevant topics.


Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Social Media Content Creator for BOB. The Content Creator will be responsible for developing engaging social media content, managing online interactions, and creating content that resonates with the male audience of the app. Being comfortable interracting with the public is a must. A passionate consumer and creator of social content, the right candidate should understand what goes into making compelling and engaging social content for brands and ve able to keep abreast of platform changes. The candidate should be someone who can create content as needed and also have a breadth of experience and complementary skills such as filming, editing, or animation.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Social Media Management, Content Creation, and Copywriting skills
  • Experience in developing engaging social media content and managing online interactions
  • Exeprience in filming and editing independently
  • Knowledge of social media trends and platforms
  • Community engagement and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the technology or social networking industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, design, plan, create on site content shoots and edit social media posts for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging social media channels.
  • Design social boards including Instagram Story wallpaper, layouts, frames.
  • Film interractions with the public and potential users of the app.
  • Understand how to capture content within social platforms (Instagram Creator Tools, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok) and can provide visual guidance on social assets.
  • Engage with commenters and comment on other content relevant to the brand in the platform(s).
  • Responsible for executing visual social content.
  • Create content ideas that drive engagement, leveraging new formats
  • Ideal position for those who are energized by public interractions and are not camera shy.


WORKING HOURS

This role is part time and flexible. The candidate is required to work the equivalent of 3 working days per week.
