We are seeking a dedicated EHS Advisor to join a world leading manufacturing company and contribute to the sites mission of advancing healthcare through science, technology, and talent. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment while supporting the health and wellbeing of the companies staff.

As an EHS Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, driving environmental sustainability initiatives, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with core values and commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the EHS Advisor:

  • Provide expert advice to improve site performance, support operations, and implement key programs such as Safety Leadership and Environmental Sustainability.
  • Lead integration through audits, investigations of accidents and near-misses, and sponsor preventive actions.
  • Offer technical guidance, support, and training to managers to help them manage performance and ensure staff work safely.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies such as the Health and Safety Executive and Environment Agency.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with employees to build understanding and engagement in initiatives.
  • Step in for the HSE Director or other Subject Matter Experts as needed, based on experience and capability.


Qualifications and Requirements for the EHS Advisor:

The ideal EHS Advisor candidate will possess a minimum of a NEBOSH Diploma, a graduate degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, a solid working knowledge of environmental and ISO audit standards, a strong understanding of SHE legislation and requirements, and prior Project & leadership experience.
