This role will play a vital position delivering best in class solutions by working in tandem with other specialist functions. You’ll be Identifying and developing the entity’s modelling development and technical pricing needs and developing and documenting effective, and actuarially sound, solutions to respond to these needs. You will be responsible for this development ensuring that it meets the highest standards and compliance requirements.


We’re seeking a Developer that is able to demonstrate skills/knowledge such as;

  • Have worked in finance/insurance environments working with catastrophe such as RMS or AIR and/or actuarial models.
  • Experience of developing complex modelling applications.
  • Strong mathematical and computational ability.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages full stack (e.g. SQL, C# .Net, VBA, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Angular, React or Blazor)
  • Developing web services on premise and or on cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • Developing Microservices.
  • Working with large data sets and being able to write complex SQL queries
  • Experience of GIT or TFS or Jira desirable - Managing code branches and releases


The successful candidate will earn up to £85,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: performance related discretionary bonus, 28 days core annual leave, and you can buy or sell up to 5 days. 18% pension, private medical cover, £1,000 pa personal fund and life assurance 10x annualised base salary The team works on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a month on-site in their London office.
