We've recently partnered with a technology business in growth mode, focused on developing cutting edge products they are now seeking a senior C++ developer to join the team on a permanent basis.

If you are passionate about developing new systems and software in a small agile company this could be the role for you.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the invention and development of advanced software.
  • Work as part of a team delivering the full lifecycle of software development from requirements collecting to customer support into both the gaming and engineering industries.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and tailor our C++ solutions to their needs.


Requirements:

  • BSc or equivalent degree in a numerical subject (e.g. computer science, engineering, science or maths).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in C++/C/Rust or Java development.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven track record of delivering end-user solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with both internal development teams and customers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and tight development time lines.

This role is based in Edinburgh, although hybrid working is on offer you must be based within a commutable distance from Edinburgh.
