Developing, managing and optimising compelling Postpaid product offerings for Lyca mobile across all countries. The role will focus on understanding customer needs, analysing market trends, ensuring our propositions are competitive, attractive and aligned with business objectives. The Proposition manager will coordinate with various departments including marketing, sales, customer service and finance to drive growth and customer satisfaction. The Proposition manager will also coordinate with local country teams to align on the plan and roadmap ahead.


Key responsibilities:

- Proposition Development: Design and implement new postpaid propositions that meet market demands and enhance customer experience.

- Customer journey optimisation: Review each stage of customer journey across all channels for all new launches and optimise current journeys. Work closely with the Marketing department and align on customer experience as the top priority.

- Partnerships: Maintain current partnerships and bring new partners on board to delivery key aspects of the journey related to KYC and Credit Checks for global products. Liaise with Marketing to create new partnerships for content services.

- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the postpaid space.

- Customer Insights: Utilise customer data and insights to inform product enhancements and ensure offerings meet customer needs.

- Pricing Strategy: Develop and execute pricing strategies that maximise profitability while maintaining competitiveness.

- Go-to-Market Plans: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for new and existing propositions.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of the postpaid products, using KPIs to make data-driven decisions and improvements.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and operational support for propositions.

- Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with the legal and reg team to ensure all postpaid products comply with relevant regulations and company policies.


- Product Management: Strong experience in product management, ideally within the telecommunications industry or a similar fast-paced sector.

- Market Research: Proficiency in conducting and analysing market research and competitor analysis.

- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these into compelling product propositions.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.

- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.

- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with telecom technologies and trends, particularly in the mobile and SIM-only markets.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related role within the telecommunications industry or a similar field.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and managing product propositions, with measurable results.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management or marketing are a plus.
