Job Description: Marine Stage 1 Technician / Deck Fitter

Location: Peterborough

Contract: 6 Months

Payment: LTD

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Stage 1 Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in sealants, silicones, and bathroom sealers, who are eager to apply their expertise in the marine sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to fitting and installing key components on marine vessels.


Main Duties / Key Tasks:

  • Fitting cleats
  • Fitting pulpits
  • Fitting teak decking
  • Cutting GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) components
  • Fitting glass
  • Fitting GRP components


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant fields
  • Experience with sealants and silicones is acceptable in lieu of marine-specific experience
  • Must have the right to work in the UK


Additional Information:

  • Tools and safety boots are required
  • Accommodation is not provided
  • Travel expenses are not covered
