Opportunity for a GCMS Analyst / Analytical Chemist to work with a global perfume and fragrance manufacturer. The business known for creating high quality fragrance compounds, aromas and perfumes for use in a variety of industries. Responsibilities:

  • Preparing samples for GCMS analysis
  • Analysis of fragrance samples identifying and quantifying the materials present
  • Interpretation of essential oil data identifying specific oils present
  • Creation of fragrance formulas
  • GCMS systems Maintenance
  • Updating of essential oil spreadsheet aiding interpretation of oil data

Requirements:

  • GCMS systems / equipment knowledge or experience
  • GCMS data analysis ideally for fragrance ingredients and interpreting essential oil data
  • Degree educated in Analytical Chemistry specifically Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
  • Knowledge of essential oils and related components is highly desirable
