Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with social media managers to conceptualize and design creative content for social media.
  • Lead on social posts from initial idea to final design, whether working from a detailed brief or developing original concepts.
  • Stay immersed in online culture and social media trends, understanding the dual role of social media in both entertainment and brand advertisement.
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle last-minute reactive content requests with ease.
  • Stay informed about industry news and trends, utilizing new platform features to create innovative content.
  • Balance quality with engagement, recognizing that a well-crafted meme can be as impactful as a highly detailed design.


Essential Experience and Skills:


  • Deep understanding of internet culture and social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • At least four years' experience in design, ideally with Adobe Creative Cloud or other design platforms such as Serif or Figma.
  • Experience creating content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X (Twitter), Threads, and Discord.
  • Experience in content ideation and leading brainstorming sessions.
  • Understanding of social media humor and the role of entertainment in social media marketing.
  • Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or Photoshop) is desirable but not essential.
