Join our team of skilled professionals at a leading healthcare provider in London's private medical sector. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and as an RMO, you will play a key role in ensuring continuous, round-the-clock medical support for our patients.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to provide on-site medical care in private hospital facilities. The RMO will be responsible for attending to the medical needs of inpatients, liaising with consultants and nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.
- Provide 24/7 clinical care and support to inpatients, covering a variety of specialties such as surgery, orthopedics, oncology, and general medicine.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests, in line with hospital protocols.
- Conduct daily patient rounds, monitoring their condition, updating medical records, and escalating concerns to the consultant when needed.
- Assist with the admission, examination, and discharge of patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes and medical orders.
- Collaborate with consultants, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatments, and carry out clinical procedures within the scope of your training and expertise.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and the latest clinical guidelines.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Experience in acute care or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) is preferred.
- Knowledge of NHS standards and familiarity with private healthcare settings is a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality medical care.
