About us


Beet It Sport (BIS) is part of James White Drinks, a family-owned fruit and vegetable juice manufacturer for over 30 years. We started bottling beetroot juice in 2005 and have been supplying beetroot juice for research into dietary nitrate supplementation since 2008. We supply over 300 universities, 150 professional sports teams and thousands of endurance sports enthusiasts around the world. BIS is a £2M RSV brand, growing at ~45% in 2023 vs 2022 and exported to over 35 countries, including the USA, China, and Australia.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage our BIS social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Strava, Linked In).
  • Manage our monthly brand ambassador scheme and run ad hoc influencer activations to drive growth of new target market followers.
  • Work with our agency to develop and manage marketing initiatives, such as paid ads, whilst tracking KPIs and ROI and effectively communicating campaign results to the wider team.
  • Plan and implement strategies to increase average order value and buying frequency on our website.
  • Support in the delivery of brand lifestyle photos, videos, and digital assets.
  • Review online presence of the brand to ensure product/lifestyle images and brand messaging are up to date.
  • Support the management of sports events and exhibitions (i.e., major marathon exhibitions).
  • Review the latest research publications on the benefits of beetroot/nitrate; update and maintain the research database and effectively communicate new research findings to the Brand Manager and the wider team.
  • Write online content / blogs for the website.


Person specification


  • Minimum one year experience in a marketing role or strong relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable and up-to-date on SEO, social media, paid social and digital marketing practices and trends.
  • Able to work independently and be resourceful with a high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • BSc or MSc degree in Sports Marketing is desirable, but not essential for this role.
  • Competitive and pro-active mind-set with excellent communications skills.
  • Desire to grow, engage and retain a thriving online sports community.
  • Passionate about the brand and the sports nutrition industry.
