Job Title: In-House Commercial Insolvency Practitioner

Position Overview:

The In-House Commercial Insolvency Practitioner will be responsible for managing the company's insolvency cases, offering expert advice on restructuring and recovery options, and ensuring compliance with all legal insolvency procedures and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insolvency, restructuring, and corporate finance, with proven experience in managing complex insolvency cases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage the company's insolvency cases, including voluntary administrations, liquidations, and receiverships.
  • Provide strategic advice on restructuring options to maximize recovery for the company and its creditors.
  • Negotiate with creditors, stakeholders, and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Ensure all insolvency procedures are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present reports on insolvency cases to senior management and the board.
  • Work closely with the legal department to manage any litigation related to insolvency cases.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insolvency legislation and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external insolvency practitioners, legal advisors, and other professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Insolvency Practitioner with a current practicing certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience in insolvency, restructuring, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of insolvency laws and procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with corporate finance and accounting principles.
  • Experience in legal proceedings related to insolvency.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
