Established for nearly a quarter of a century, R&V has an enviable reputation as one of the leading manufacturers and installers in the UK PVCu window and door market.


Offering an in-house manufacture, supply and installation service, R&V caters to the new build and trade sectors in fenestration, producing an extensive selection of premium quality windows, doors and -building plastics to -individual requirements.


2024 has seen the expansion the R&V Group by the addition of Evoframes, a quality manufacturer of PVCu windows based in the central belt of Scotland and New Build PVCu Windows Ltd (NBPW), a regional sub-contract installer based in NW England servicing house builders in the budget sector of the market.


We are actively growing our presence in the UK new build sector and are now recruiting for a Business Development Director to drive growth in numerous regions of England for both R&V and NBPW brands.


The position reports to the joint CEOs of the R&V Group

The Role

Initiate and build commercial relationships with national and regional house builders with the objective of winning new and repeat business.

Role responsibilities


· Contribute to the development of the annual sales revenue budget for the assigned regions

· Develop and own the strategic sales plan, supporting sales strategies

· Regularly maintain contact with key decision makers in target housebuilders and existing customers to drive the

growth of new business

· Develop and evolve CRM records of potential and current customers, ensuring fully populated data to share

across the business

· Analyse and communicate sales data to enable accurate periodic sales forecasts

· Identify and mitigate competitor risk by ensuring the Company’s product mix, sales prices and service offering

are competitive whilst protecting agreed margins

· Work in conjunction with the Installations Director to ensure seamless customer service

Skills & Experience

· Fully conversant with the housebuilding supply chain, ideally in window supply and installation, but other

building product supply and installation experience will certainly be considered.

· Highly organised with excellent analysis and planning skills

· Strategic thinker

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven commercial negotiator

· A high degree of financial awareness and commercial understanding

· Excellent IT literacy

At least 5 years in the New Build supply chain sector with the last 2 at senior sales level.


You will have a proven track record of developing key relationships with senior decision-makers in National and Regional housebuilders with a focus on the supply and fit of technical building products. You will be able to point to tangible success in winning sizable contracts.

Qualifications

· Educated to degree level or equivalent

· Full UK Driving Licence
