About the Role:

The vital Shift Operations Technician role comes with a salary of £45,749 (inclusive of shift allowance and London weighting allowance) + Bonus + overtime + Benefits. If you’re an experienced Assistant Shift Operations Technician, or have experience operating large process machinery, and are looking to work for a leading organisation who invests in training and professional development of their employees, then upload your CV to apply today.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and conducting plant checks on the machinery within site to ensure optimum performance is always maintained.
  • Carry out and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines and Safe System of Work.
  • Follow company procedures in reporting accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Assist in reaching the daily production targets as defined by site management.
  • Have a proactive approach to the improvements of operational and safety efficiencies within site.
  • Assist with loading and unloading operations.
  • Operation of mobile plant and machinery.


Qualifications:

A formal qualification in and engineering discipline would be ideal but not a necessity. A health and safety qualification such as IOSH will be advantageous. Mobile plant operation licences would be ideal (forklift, counterbalance, etc).


Required Skills:

  • An Understanding of process/factory machinery.
  • Ability to use sensory skills to monitor the running of machinery.
  • Previous experience working within a process, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • A proven track record of high performance in a similar industry.
  • Willing to work 12 hour shifts.


Pay range and compensation package:

A salary of £45,749. Bonus. Overtime. Other benefits.
