Head of PPC Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies across various platforms
- Drive innovation and stay ahead of travel industry trends by exploring new platforms, technologies, and advertising formats to maximize campaign effectiveness
- Manage large-scale PPC travel / holiday campaign budgets, forecasting, and allocation to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal performance
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and KPIs, conducting regular analysis and optimisation to maximize ROI and achieve business goals
- Provide strategic recommendations and insights to stakeholders, leveraging data and industry expertise to drive informed decision-making
- Foster strong relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
- Stay informed about industry updates, platform changes, and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with people around you
- Conduct comprehensive keyword search and travel competitor research
- Lead the transition of our client’s multimillion pound PPC campaigns from the marketing agency to in-house
Now Let’s Talk About You:
- Commercially minded and experienced in managing large-scale PPC campaigns for a Travel Company in-house or at an agency
- Hands on with proven track record of success in developing and executing PPC strategies that drive business results and exceed stakeholder expectations
- Deep understanding of multiple platforms and channels, including Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, also Performance Max and Programmatic
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience of developing and mentoring PPC specialists
- Advanced analytical capabilities and ability to derive actionable insights from campaign data to optimise performance and drive ROI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
- Absolute strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to meet business objectives
