The role

The Human Resources Director for EMEA directly reports to the Firmwide Senior HR Director. This role entails close collaboration with the Directors of Administration (DOAs) on all HR matters within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. Noteworthy locations within the Firm's EMEA region encompass London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Dubai, and Johannesburg.

The responsibilities will include overseeing employee relations, staff recruitment, performance management, ensuring compliance with employment law, maintaining policies and procedures, supervising regional secretarial resources, managing HR data, and administering regional compensation and benefits.

A crucial aspect of this role involves serving as the point of contact for the Firmwide Senior HR Director, who holds global responsibility, regarding all EMEA HR affairs. The incumbent should demonstrate the capacity to collaborate effectively with the firmwide HR department to uphold the consistent implementation of the firm's overarching guiding principles, policies, and procedures, while remaining attentive to local distinctions within the EMEA region.

Candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree and possess extensive international experience, preferably acquired within a global law firm setting.
