Job Summary

Marcus by Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Product Owner to engage with business stakeholders to define and prioritise initiatives; and to work with Engineering teams to specify requirements and to lead the delivery of these initiatives, primarily in an Agile project framework.

Responsibilities

Work with business leadership and second lines teams to define requirements, ensuring that these are documented and solutions agreed up on prior to development

Support Engineering through the development phase, answering queries and iterating where needed

Advise on the test coverage and support Testing colleagues throughout this phase to ensure appropriate QA is undertaken

Ensure all considerations are made for changes moving to production - work with Delivery colleagues to ensure that Training/processes are updated, ensure that reporting is in place, ensure that public website content is aligned

Manage product feature backlog, in collaboration with the business stakeholders to ensure that you have detailed work packages ready to be developed

Constantly think about the priority of your backlog and the optimized delivery approach

Consider the holistic agent and customer experience including digital interactions and customer communications

Work with Engineering teams to prioritize, schedule and implement changes to digital content and functionality; and monitor and report on the impact of changes

Work collaboratively with Design colleagues to deliver a best-in-class end to end user experience across digital channels

Maintain a full understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory issues

Ongoing interaction with the data analytics team to define and maintain a MI dashboard to inform CRO activity

Experience working in agile business and technology development structure

Experience of working with CRM and Analytics platforms as a Product Owner desirable

You are an innovator with a deep understanding of digital channels, a track record of innovation and a focus on increasing sales while decreasing cost per acquisition

Knowledge of iOS and/or Android mobile and tablet platforms

Demonstrated client service orientation

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent

5-7 years+ of Product Owner experience required in roles of increasing responsibility.

Prior experience of managing & optimizing digital customer journeys, ideally in retail financial services

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services preferred
