The Management Consultant will also pursue the full sales cycle from lead to close; responsible for generating proposals and drawing high end revenue into the business through consulting in the energy sector, including promoting sales of subscriptions and reports. Ongoing relationship management with senior managers and executives within the energy, refining, and chemical industries.


Role Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with client decision makers, identify leads, and contribute to the development of proposals that turn into client engagements, with a focus on petrochemicals and renewables
  • Manage client engagements and maintain quality control, budget and schedule of deliverables, with demonstrated excellence, with a focus on petrochemicals and renewables
  • Work closely with clients, prepare, and deliver presentations, and assist in building strong client relationships
  • Exceed client expectations of quality
  • Liaise with the Project Executive on the quality of analysis, strategic input etc.
  • Provide supervision and support to other team members as appropriate and assist in training and development activities


Skills & Requirements

  • Significant experience within the petrochemical and/or renewable industries, consulting experience is a plus
  • Specific experience selling and/or delivering technical/consulting services
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills


Personal Qualities

  • Positive and flexible attitude to work particularly on new initiatives
  • Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness
  • Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities
  • Flexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate busy work loads
  • Willingness to travel
