Here is the role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving Sales, Revenue and GP targets. With a clear and demonstrable track record of identifying, refining, and closing out opportunities with new clients. As an experienced Business Development Manager you will already have a strong foundation in Business and Digital Transformation including Operating Model design, IT service delivery, and IT service management.
This is what we need from you:
- Own the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal
- Following a ‘Power Base Selling’ methodology
- Create and execute a territory business plan
- Create and execute sales campaigns within the sales territory
- Nurture sales opportunities, entering new opportunities into sales pipeline
- Able to communicate effectively with corporate professionals, establish respect, credibility, and relationships at all levels
- Highly organised and with attention to detail
- A client-centric approach to business
- Taking full responsibility whilst still appreciating it’s a team effort
- Strong written and verbal business communication
- Working to deadlines and performing under pressure
We also need you to:
- Proven experience of selling complex IT services projects to technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, writing and presentation skills
- Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
- A holistic view of the business, ability to see the bigger picture
- Ability to work with key internal stakeholders – sales, marketing, operations and consultants
- Ability to work with key external stakeholders – Clients and Microsoft
- Managing or adapting to change, pace, strategic direction
