Are you a recent graduate in Supply Chain/Procurement or similar that wants to kick start their career? Look no further as we have an exciting opportunity to join the Asda Head office Procurement Team in Leeds.
Working in the ASDA procurement team, you will be involved in buying and managing supplier relationships for our £2bn spend for ‘Goods Not for Resale’ products and services across the business this includes Technology/Marketing/Logistics/Property/ Corporate Services/Energy.
Our 2-year graduate programme is split into 4 placements where you will have the opportunity to work on Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, Procurement Governance.
The development opportunities at ASDA are endless, if you are successful, you would have the opportunity to gain a further professional qualification on the Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) Apprenticeship.

The procurement graduate scheme will give the graduates the opportunity to develop in the below skills.
- Relationship Management – building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers & stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills – Developing the ability to negotiate contracts.
- Strategic Thinking – understanding the bigger picture and aligning procurement activities with business goals.
- Analytical Skills – Analyse data to provide insights into supplier performance & make informed decisions.
- Commercial Acumen – develop an understanding of commercial models & costs structures to deliver best value.
- Supply Chain Knowledge – gain an understanding of the supply chain and how this is managed.
- Environmental Awareness – develop an understanding and drive sustainable procurement practices.
