Position Overview

As Head of Hardware, you will lead a team of FPGA and digital design engineers, overseeing the design, deployment, and evolution of state-of-the-art hardware platforms. This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic leadership to ensure technological excellence and maintain a competitive edge.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the hardware engineering team, providing technical and strategic direction.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of high-performance FPGA platforms for low-latency trading systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and align hardware initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Define next-generation hardware architectures to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Manage hardware delivery timelines, validation, and testing to meet performance standards.
  • Integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a technological advantage.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, digital logic, and low-latency system development.
  • Proven expertise in:
  • o Micro-architecture definition, RTL coding, and verification.
  • o Simulation, synthesis, Place & Route, and timing analysis.
  • Proficiency in System Verilog and Xilinx FPGA design tools.
  • Working knowledge of C++, Rust, and Python.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of high-performance computing and hardware-software integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
