We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Manager who will lead, develop, and manage the housekeeping needs of our venue, ensuring that our high standards are always maintained.
The Housekeeping Manager will be a champion for our housekeeping standards across the business whilst motivating and leading their team.
Who Are We?
We are the National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham.
The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands with 2 Olympic sized ice pads and an arena with a crowd capacity of 10,000.
At our venue we showcase the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment, and sport. We host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year.
We are also home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, who play 30+ home league & cups games each season.
In addition, we are the head office for our other brands which include National Catering, National Merchandise, Event Crowd Management, and Ice Locker.

What do we offer?
Full Time (40 hours per week)
25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

The housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring that our venue is ready for the skaters and their 5am starts, even after 10,000 fans have been enjoying themselves the previous night at a gig.
The Housekeeping Manager will continuously improve the housekeeping systems, operations and delivery. Line managing a team of Facilities Team Leaders the Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for dealing with recruitment, training, appraisals and all other HR related issues and procedures.
They will produce monthly staff rotas in line with staffing budgets and keep accurate records of staff working hours and absences.
In addition, the Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for producing and updating relevant Risk Assessments and Standard Working Procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role. They will hold qualifications from the British Institute of Cleaning Science as well as in IOSHH (Managing Safely), First Aid and IPAF.
They will have previous experience of managing and motivating a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
With great attention to detail they will enjoy providing excellent customer service and have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
In addition, due to the nature of our business, they will have the ability to work flexibly including overnight, weekends and bank holidays.
