Wipro is looking for a Network Automation Test Engineer to work in the UK on a permanent basis,



What you’ll do:


The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality and security of the development produced by the Network automation Team. Since the products developed by the team directly instantiate intent on the VMO2 network, any defects can have a detrimental effect on our customers networks. We need to maintain quality and ensure we have an auditable record for compliance against ISO standards.




What you’ll bring:


  • Ability to Contribute to the technical design / discussion.
  • Ability to embrace changes.
  • Develop ability to identify and realise improvement opportunities.
  • Good networking skill (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP and IGP)
  • Understanding Cisco NSO service and actions.
  • Understanding of workflow engine example Itential IAP.
  • Good in Unix (REHL, Centos)
  • Good Python coding skills
  • Competent at service modelling in Yang
  • Competent in XML / JSON /YAML
  • Working knowledge NETCONF / REST / RESTCONF / SOAP
  • Working knowledge of Source control tools (GitLab)
  • Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker Kubernetes)
  • Ability to work from Jira story tickets.
  • Working appreciation of agile methodologies (scrum)
  • Knowledge of using database SQL and NoSQL e.g., Mongo.
  • Monitoring/reporting of tests; Metric to capture test coverage and failure rate.
  • Embrace CI/CD Methodology.
  • Experience of Unit Testing, regression testing, integration Testing, Acceptance testing Security Testing and Performance testing.
