*Your responsibilities:*
* Monitor the pool and thermal spa areas to ensure the safety of all guests.
* Provide excellent customer service by enhancing our guests' experience and assisting with any inquiries or needs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool and spa areas.
* Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
* Provide tours of the pool and spa facilities.
* Perform daily inspections which include water testing and plant pool monitoring.
* Provide cover at the gym reception.
*Personal Specification:*
Essentials
* Due to health and safety aspects of the job, applicants must be over the age of 18 years old.
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Pool Responder Certificate.
* First Aid Certificate.
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving equipment.
* Ability to swim proficiently.
Desirables
* Experience within the hospitality industry.
* Pool plant operation knowledge.
*Shift Pattern:*
* Part-time and Full-time opportunities available.
* Hours of work: Between 7am and 10.30pm and will include a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
* Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
