PR Account manager:
Responsible for managing client accounts, delivering impactful PR campaigns, and driving business growth at ESPR.

Role summary:
The role of the part-time PR Account Manager is dynamic and well-suited to an enterprising candidate. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional relationship-building and project management skills to deliver excellent service and build trust. An enthusiasm for media/PR, a can can-do attitude and an ability to think on your feet are a must.
The Account Manager will work closely with the founder of ESPR and will have the opportunity to make a real impact within the agency. They will play a key role in delivering projects with exceptional clarity of communication with all stakeholders and improving processes to support the growth of the ESPR brand.
Roles and responsibilities:
Project management (65%):
Act as the primary day-to-day liaison for clients and freelancers
Lead and facilitate client meetings, confidently managing client expectations though proactive communication
Successfully manage projects and/or campaigns from start to finish, within budget and agreed timelines with the help of an online software such as Trello
Take ownership of the project management tool and maintain accurate, up-to-date project information, guiding others to leverage the tool effectively for streamlined communication and project tracking
Manage logistics and support the client at events and conferences, including managing press on the ground, to ensure a seamless experience
Manage the cohort of ESPR freelancers, and ensure they are delivering high-quality work on time, addressing any concerns promptly
Update the team on insights, proactively identify client opportunities to upsell, and facilitate account growth
PR (20%):
Manage PR reports, communicating the success and key metrics of campaigns to clients
Keep the media tracker up-to-date, adding new contacts after each campaign and tracking ongoing relationships
Identifying key media outlets to pitch to and keep learning about current media trends, news cycles and opportunities
Support in drafting clear and compelling press releases and social media posts in a timely manner
Growth and Business Development (15%):
Research and analyse best practices for the ESPR digital brand strategy and implementation (web and social media)
Organise networking events for clients to showcase their brand (e.g. lunch and learn, masterclass) or identify opportunities for ESPR to sponsor/collaborate on other events
Support new business by identifying opportunities, respond to inbound leads and contribute to the development of pitch decks and proposals
Desired skills and attributes:
2+ years of agency Account Management experience, ideally within PR or media
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting with an enterprising and solution-oriented mindset
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Trello) and PR/media industry knowledge is preferred
Nice to have:
Understanding of brand activation and social media platforms
Desire to work with clients in the UK and Africa
Part-time (20 hrs) salary: £22,000 per annum, with bonuses linked to performance
Role type: permanent contract, part time (20 hours per week), fully remote
