We are recruiting for a leading qualifying and membership body for with over 125 years of experience in educating and supporting its professional members. With a Royal Charter they provide professional development, guidance, and thought leadership. They also work with regulators and policymakers to champion high standards.


Why do we need you?


The Learning and Standards Executive will focus on the development of the accreditation framework and the quality management of academic partnerships. This role involves conducting research, handling internal and external queries regarding standards and accreditation procedures, gathering information, preparing reports, and drafting policies, contracts, process checklists, and workplans.


Main Responsibilities


Accreditation and Quality Management

- Collaborate with the Learning and Standards Lead to develop the accreditation framework and related procedures and communications.

- Gather insights and relevant information to contribute to new process mapping and the internal workplan of projects and deadlines.

- Lead the review and update of all relevant process documents, checklists, and policies in a timely manner.

- Assist in creating and executing Quality Assurance processes, including providing administrative support.

- Support Subject Matter Experts and partners throughout all stages of the accreditation process as appropriate.

- Escalate any issues and bottlenecks to senior management promptly and clearly.


Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

- Present updates and procedures to internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

- Prepare agendas, and plan and execute accreditation and validation events for the Institute’s academic partners as required.

- Ensure that student and partner inquiries relating to quality and standards are addressed promptly or directed to the appropriate colleague within the organization.

- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communications to keep stakeholders informed of the Institute’s processes.


Administrative Support and Reporting

- Attend and administer meetings both online and face-to-face, taking minutes as required.

- Produce reports and statistics from relevant systems and sources to support the evaluation of performance and reporting to relevant committees.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the Institute’s systems in an organized and transparent manner.

- Provide support to the Learning and Development and Assessment functions as needed.

- Exercise open-mindedness, good judgment, and a proactive approach in all areas of work, with the ability to work autonomously.


Other Responsibilities

- Represent the Institute at events as required.

- Occasional early mornings, late evenings, and overnight travel may be required (infrequent if at all).


What knowledge, skills and experience will you need to thrive in this role?


Knowledge

- Strong understanding of quality assurance, ideally within the education or professional and membership body sector.

- Familiarity with qualification development and/or accreditation processes.

- Proficient in using MS Office applications, especially MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

- Experience with CRM systems is beneficial.


Experience

- Proficient with databases and online platforms.

- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in drafting reports, process maps, contracts, and policies.

- Experience in preparing agendas and conducting online and face-to-face meetings.

- Experience in handling sensitive and confidential documents.


Skills

- Ability to multitask effectively.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure.

- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills, with an ability to problem-solve.

- High degree of consistency and attention to detail.
