Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Associate Director of Client Accounts to join our client, a leading strategic risk consultancy with a global footprint. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction, product innovation and business growth.


Prospective candidates will have a pre-existing knowledge of the risk/security intelligence industry and ideally, a professional and/or academic background in the practitioner elements of geopolitics and intelligence.


This is a rare opportunity, in that my client is happy for the role to be based anywhere in either the US or UK.


Key Responsibilities include –


  • Drive efficiency and execution in how the overall team closes on client sales, while accomplishing this within the ethos and culture of our clients’ approach to their own client relationships.
  • Owns the contracting and procurement-negotiations processes; lead contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Develop and execute client success strategies to maximize both value delivery and client retention/satisfaction.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to key accounts, helping to achieve on business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities across the portfolio to expand client usage and adoption of their various products and services.
  • Lead client onboarding and ongoing client enablement initiatives (incl. process improvement).
  • Understand client needs and objectives to effectively communicate how services can meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain expert knowledge about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage and analyse client health scores, taking proactive measures to address any issues; report on account performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Consolidate and analyse client feedback to drive improvements in products and services
  • Collaborate with management to deliver client feedback to product development and service delivery teams to implement client-driven enhancements
