The company has won several awards in recent years for its commitment to sustainability.
Your new role
As Production Manager, you will be reporting to the Operations Director and will have overall responsibility for quality, on-time delivery and production efficiencies, ensuring your team works to maximise performance, not only meeting but exceeding company KPI’s. You will be driving a culture of continuous improvement using change improvement techniques and problem-solving disciplines. It is important that you should develop positive employee relations, encouraging good teamwork through communication and engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the role will have at least 5 years’ experience working within a similar manufacturing environment in a management capacity. You should have a proven track record for managing a team successfully with the ability to improve manufacturing efficiencies and manage projects. You should have experience of working towards KPI’s, supporting continuous improvement and be computer-literate.
What you'll get in return
You will have the opportunity to work for a market leading company in a day shift role, core hours Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:30pm with an earlier Friday finish at 12:30.
You will earn a base salary of £40k, and enjoy perks such as generous bonus schemes, pension and 31 days annual leave.
