Are you passionate about celebrating British cuisine and championing locally sourced produce? We are looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to lead the kitchen at a brand-new British Restaurant
The restaurant is dedicated to celebrating the finest ingredients from across the British Isles. We believe in a farm-to-fork philosophy, ensuring the freshest produce with minimal food miles. With a focus on sustainability, we are committed to supporting local farmers, fishermen, and artisans.
Sous Chef Role:As the Sous Chef, you will be at the helm of the kitchen, driving our culinary vision. You will lead a talented team, crafting dishes that highlight the natural quality of ingredients. With a wood-fired grill as the centrepiece of our cooking, you'll bring a modern yet authentic touch to classic British fare.
Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a menu that showcases the best of British produce.
  • Champion our farm-to-fork philosophy, working closely with local suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and staff schedules.

Sous Chef Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant.

  • Expertise in wood-fired cooking techniques is a plus.
  • A creative and innovative approach to menu development.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
