West Country Milk is a supplier of local milk and fresh products to various industry sectors on both regional and national levels. We cater to hotels, restaurants, catering contractors, nursing/care homes, convenience stores, schools, and other locations.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Exeter. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and nurturing business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. They will also be responsible for market research, developing business strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs.
Some regular travel will also be required.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is beneficial though not critical
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
