What we need?

As part of our expansion, we are looking for the right candidate that aligns with our Boomspace values, to setup a new sales division reporting to the Company Directors.


We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Audio Visual Sales Consultant to support the growth of our pre-sales business, representing the company and taking full responsibility for delivering globally consistent, supportable technology solutions and services to key customers. This role will continue to provide technical engagement throughout the project lifecycle, supporting a successful outcome and driving the development of ongoing solutions and standards, along with managing the after-sales experience for our clients.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Self-motivated, pro-active and multi-disciplined in generating leads for new business and growth opportunities
  • Grow current client base and expand into new industry sectors, which would benefit from Boomspace’s skills and expertise to deliver standardised and customised AV solutions
  • Target oriented to meet/exceed sales and business KPIs, without compromising integrity of delivery and after sales care
  • Validate sales enquiries and incoming leads, focussing on customer engagement and gain a deep understanding of user cases, budgets and timelines to allow ‘right first time solutions’
  • Preparation of customer proposals, tenders and sales pitch decks
  • Demo and present with a clear confident approach, promoting the Boomspace culture, benefits of our proposed AV solutions and justifying costs to clients
  • Building and maintaining a loyal client base forming strong trusting relationships
  • Supply chain engagement ensuring technical knowledge is gained to provide outstanding consultancy - including regular meet ups with manufacturers, distribution channels and attending Tech events
  • Managing and reporting sales pipeline to Directors
  • Work with the Company Directors, to improve Sales and Marketing strategies and customer engagement
  • Oversee successful migration of projects from opportunity to deployment on time
  • Be a team player and brand ambassador representing the Boomspace core values - ensuring that customers and project teams are fully supported, with integrity at the forefront









Qualifications / preferred experience

  • 5+ years AV technical sales experience
  • Target oriented salesperson with successful sales track record
  • Expert presentation, organisation and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of working with corporate clients and high level Board members
  • Strong interpersonal skills – calm and tactful under pressure handling diverse sectors, groups and individuals
  • Excellent technical knowledge of AV & UC technologies and trends
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel
  • Applicants must have the full right to work in the UK and have a full clean UK driving licence.

  • Basic Salary £45K-£55K plus car allowance, commission and rewards
