Pricing Actuary

This position will take ownership of all pricing activities with exposure to C-suite, comittees and key internal partners outside of the actuarial function.


As this is a newly created role we are open to a range of experience levels, with the key criteria being strong commercial, business partnering skills.


Role

  • Working closely with the Chief Actuary and Head of Underwriting to provide challenge and oversight of pricing models, model governance, pricing strategy, processes and compliance.
  • Implement cutting edge pricing and analytics (with support of senior management) throughout the commercial business in accordance with the company’s pricing framework.
  • Review external and internal data sources for value to insurance pricing and make recommendations to senior leadership


Requirements

  • Strong Pricing experience on Commercial lines
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management experience, comfortable challenging and influencing internal partners
  • Interst in broader business activity (not limited to actuarial duties) and an awareness of broader market forces
  • Abillity to communicate complex technical and strategic information to both senior stakeholders and junior team members


Package/Details

  • £80K - £100K(depending on experience)
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 2 days a week in Central London
