This is a varied role which will give exposure to all elements of the accounts department. Working as part of the accounts team the role will help ensure the smooth running of the accounts function within the business.

Key Tasks:

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of Sales invoices
  • Checking and querying Purchase invoices
  • Coding and entering Purchase invoices
  • Dealing with day-to-day supplier and client queries
  • Contacting and liaising with suppliers
  • Data entry and invoice validation
  • Preparing monthly management reports
  • Various admin duties to support the finance function
  • Additional ad hoc duties as may be reasonably required

The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident speaking with clients
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Have good relationship building skills and desire to work as part of a team
  • Have excellent organisational and time keeping skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Appetite to learn and develop technical knowledge and understanding within the role
  • Good working knowledge level of MS Excel and the rest of the MS Office Suite including Outlook and Word
