Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate solid experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar capacity
  • Possess a profound comprehension of database structures, data manipulation techniques, and analytical tools
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, Tableau
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct in-depth research on business challenges.
  • Generate reports from structured and unstructured data in our Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
  • Assist in regulatory and compliance tasks by creating detailed reports
  • Develop, prototype, and maintain reports in Power BI utilising SQL and DAX
  • Engage in an Agile Kanban workflow, employing source control for code review, testing, and deployment
  • Coordinate with product teams to strategize and prioritize requests, review requirements, and ensure successful results
  • Utilise visualisations to gauge and oversee strategies, initiatives, product advancements, and risk management
  • Offer insightful commentary to guide decision-makers in acting on discoveries


Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, data science, business intelligence).
  • Proficient in SQL, DAX, and advanced Excel.
  • Skilled in visualization tools such as Cognos, SSRS, Power BI, or Business Objects.
  • Statistical solid and problem-solving acumen, showcasing deductive and inquisitive thinking.
  • Business acumen, particularly in financial services.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in effective collaboration with peers.
  • Approach development and business intelligence with a positive, enthusiastic, and methodical mindset.
