Role Overview:

Finatal is supporting a PE backed infrastructure services business, seeking an FP&A Manager to support the wider FP&A team in a is a pivotal role involving strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Head of FP&A with the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.

· Lead the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

· Business partner with senior leaders across the business to provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes.

· Monitor and analyse KPIs to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, board meetings, and investors.

· Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

· Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.

· Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA qualified with a strong academic background.
  • Proven industry experience in an FP&A role, ideally within a services business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
