As a Junior Sales Executive for Damm you will have the desire to win new business on a daily and weekly basis. The ideal candidate will have good geographical knowledge of the region, along with good knowledge of the customer base, including regional and national wholesalers/distributors.
You will be accountable for new business targets on agreed brands, against weekly KPIs that will be set for you.
To succeed in the role, it is vital that you can build long-term relationships with new business accounts and existing customers, whilst working with both internal and external stakeholders. Internally, you will consistently report back on a daily and weekly basis directly with your line manager and through our CRM system and will respond to internal and customer requests in a timely manner.
The Ideal candidate must have:
- Basic sales/negotiation skills
- Driving license (for roles outside M25)
- Good listening skills to understand the needs of our customers.
- A basic understanding of the on-trade beer sector
- Some experience in achieving targets
- Communication, negotiation, and objection-handling desirable
- Relationship-building approach/personality
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable working both autonomously and in a team
We are looking for talented individuals based in either Manchester or Liverpool
