Role Overview



Join the vibrant LaplandUK team as a Retail Manager and be at the heart of delivering a magical

Christmas experience for all.



The Retail Manager is a very important role at LaplandUK. It is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join a friendly team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Based on our Ascot event site. The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day retail operation of the experience, ensuring that the retail stores are fully staffed and stocked and that the teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Event Planning - Be fully aware of current retail strategies including product, visual merchandising and sales forecasts prior to site launch.
  • Event Operations - Ensure all retail departments' set-up or closing duties at the beginning/end of daily operations are complete, and that cleaning, stock levels and visual merchandising standards have been adhered to.-
  • Guest Experience - Ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery. following the LaplandUK operating procedures and sequence of service.
  • HR - Train team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met. Maintain and improve the morale of Retail Elves during the event.
  • Loss Prevention - Ensure any stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimised and properly accounted for alongside the Warehouse Manager..



Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Lead by example as a strong operational, hands on, role model.
  • Bright and articulate, with the ability to influence and engage other members of the team.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

Salary

The hourly rate for this role is £15.
