The Role:


As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the agency. This is a pivotal role where you will shape the future of the company, ensuring they continue to deliver world-class services to their clients while achieving ambitious growth targets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a clear and compelling strategic vision for the agency, aligning with the broader business objectives. Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio across various sports sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Client Management: Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional marketing campaigns that meet and exceed client expectations. Act as the senior point of contact for major clients, providing strategic counsel and support.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrate P&L understanding with experience of managing budgets and financial performance. Ensure the agency meets its financial targets, driving profitability while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Brand Positioning & Growth: Elevate the agency's market position, developing innovative marketing solutions that differentiates them from competitors. Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging new technologies and insights to enhance our service offerings.
  • Team Development: Nurture and develop talent within the agency, providing mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment where creativity and innovation can thrive.


Who We’re Looking For:


  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the sports marketing, advertising, or media industry. A deep understanding of the sports landscape and a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business Acumen: Commercially astute with a strong grasp of business development, financial management, and client relationship management. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans, while also being hands-on in the execution of business initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
