NEC Supervisor – Permanent or Contractor Role
Location: Scotland (Hybrid – mix of office/site & home working)
We’re looking for an experienced NEC Supervisor to oversee design and construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage. If you’re great with NEC4 contracts and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be your next role Whether you’re seeking a permanent position or prefer contracting, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Scope Understanding – Assist in defining project scope and attending key meetings.
- Contract Communications – Manage NEC4 communications and reply within deadlines.
- Support the PM & QS – Help analyze compensation events and provide dispute advice.
- ♂️ Site Inspections – Regular site visits to ensure the contractor meets the scope and quality standards.
- Reporting – Produce weekly site reports and keep accurate records of site activities.
- Defect Management – Monitor, report, and issue notices on defects, ensuring they’re corrected properly.
- ️ Testing & Commissioning – Witness testing activities and ensure quality processes and audits are followed.
Your Profile:
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- ️ Experience in regulated industries and complex stakeholder environments.
- Knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts (beneficial, not essential).
- NEC Supervisor qualification (highly desirable).
- ️ Construction PM experience with an understanding of construction methods.
- Confident with digital systems for project info, defect recording, and reporting.
