Title: Account Manager (Distribution), North

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage and grow sales of PA and ProAudio systems, along with Voice Evac, Intercom, and IP Audio solutions. Focus on maintaining and developing existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities in line with business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Technical Interpretation: Understand and interpret architectural drawings and tender specifications.
  • Proposal Development: Create proposals with the technical team.
  • Product Specification: Ensure company solutions are specified by PA/AV integrators, distributors, and consultants.
  • Training: Conduct product training for PA/AV integrators.
  • Sales Follow-Up: Respond to sales enquiries via email and visits.
  • Customer Relations: Develop relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Market Feedback: Provide feedback on products and market activities.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on competitor solutions and customer needs.
  • Market Expansion: Build presence in existing and new markets.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work with other company functions to support business development.
  • Training & Development: Attend training to enhance skills.
  • Trade Shows: Support at local and international trade shows.


  • Region: Northern England & Scotland.
  • Accounts: Develop sales within the current base of 100+ accounts and find new high-quality accounts.
  • Account Value: Typical account values range from £10k to £100k+ per annum.
