This is an exciting opportunity to join the RWS Group Treasury Team and play a key part in centralising our treasury function and be involved in a number of internal treasury projects aimed at delivering ongoing process improvements which are critical to the strategy of RWS.

In joining RWS’s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. RWS has growing revenues of over £750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Candy Davies, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. We cover a footprint of over 100 legal entities in 43 different countries worldwide.

It’s a very exciting time to join RWS Finance for an individual who enjoys change and making an impact As part of the overall RWS business strategy we are making a significant investment in upgrading our financial systems and processes to deliver enhanced reporting and control, more efficient processing enabling great value through enhanced business partnering and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, build and maintenance of updated Daily Cash and Cash Flow Forecast models.
• Preparation of the Daily Cash and Weekly Cash Flow Forecasting reports.
• Manage the cash flow, including RCF facility drawdowns and repayments, to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements.
• Make payments and transfers on the relevant banking portals.
• Support the Groups FX requirements including FX trading, placement of hedges, FX Swaps and FX reporting.
• Assist with key treasury projects such as:
  • Bank and bank account rationalisation.
  • Maintenance of a central register of all banking mandates across the Group.
  • Maintenance of a central register of all bank accounts across the Group.
  • Expand Cash Pooling on accounts at core banks.
  • Repatriation of trapped cash from countries outside the UK.
• Support for all Audit and Governance queries.
• Support in the completion of KYC requirements for the Group’s banking partners.
• Support the obtaining and completion of all documentation relating to the opening of new bank accounts by liaising with the Legal Team and other areas of the business.
• Support the management of all Treasury Legal Agreements, e.g. ISDAs, guarantees, etc.

Skills & Experience

• Advanced level of Excel with experience of building and working with complex models and advanced formulas, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index Match and SUMIFS.
• Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes and to provide solutions to day-to-day problems.
• Hands-on approach with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a large corporate finance team.
• Interested in developing their career within a corporate treasury function.
• Previous treasury experience is desirable.
• Motivated self-starter with an interest in finding ways to constantly improve performance.
• Strong communication skills in English and high attention to detail is essential.
