Job Description

We’re recruiting for aSenior Client Relationship Executiveto join our award winning DC Pensions division. You will beworking in partnership with Client Directors, performing a relationship management role for a portfolio of clients across 'Investment Only', 'Own Trust', 'Master Trust' and Contract Based Schemes including some of the largest DC arrangements in the UK.

You will be acting as a key contact between Client/Trustees and Legal & General taking the lead on Operational matters, client reporting requests and key projects. As well as being the conduit between various business areas within Legal & General to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to our clients as well as the successful retention and growth of the DC portfolio in an efficient and profitable manner.

You will also be a point of contact for a small portfolio of smaller clients and respond to ad hoc requests which may arise from clients and/or advisers.

What you'll be doing

  • Working withClient Directors, Workplace Sales and Implementation teams on a portfolio of strategic clients, proactively co-ordinating regular meetings with Clients/Trustees and advisers to provide updates on operational performance and scheme specific projects
  • Acting as a key contact between Clients/Trustees, analysing, managingand owning any enquiries or escalated issues and take an active role in scheme specific issue resolution by engaging with various teams across the Legal & General business including Operations teams
  • Working on any projects that arise, includinginvestment transition projects, rectification exercises and communication programmes
  • SupportingClient Directors with preparation for client meetings, including preparing meeting papers and liaising with the client in relation to meeting logistics
  • Building strong collaborative working relationships across the DC business, developing a network of key contacts and knowledge of the DC business to ensure they can provide a high quality service to Clients/Trustees within the appropriate risk, governance and compliance frameworks
  • Keeping abreast of changes to the wider regulatory and legislative landscape, ensuringany impact on current processes or scheme design are assessed and adapted appropriately
  • Contributingto propositional development projects including participating in cross business planning and project implementation meetings
  • As part of consumer duty, ensuringour clients have been provided with sufficient information to make an informed decision



Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace
  • Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager or EBC/significant intermediary
  • Understanding of investments, being able to articulatethe performance of the funds at a high-level
  • Understanding of administration / operational matters in relation to DC pension plans
  • Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable for example PMI, Certificate in Financial Planning or IMC
  • Demonstrable communication/presentation skill – previous client facing meeting and presentational experience is a requirement, as is the ability to articulate and convey information in a clear and compelling manner in writing and in person
  • Ability to listen to client issues, understanding their challenges and leveraging L&G DC to address/resolve these issues
