We are currently recruiting for an Insights Lead for UK and Ireland


Do you want to work with some of the most iconic drinks brands in the world, and be at the heart of an exciting transformation that will change the way the brand and category is perceived?


Reporting into the UK&I Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the UK marketing and market strategy team to develop and accelerate our consumer-centric strategy, working across our Iconic brands; Tropicana, Naked and Copella.

You will challenge current thinking and proactively move the business forward, identifying insights that unlock business value growth ahead of trends.


We’re looking for a consumer obsessed and experienced consumer research professional, always seeking opportunities to expand and embed the consumer viewpoint into the decision making across the business, helping to make insight a source of competitive advantage for TBG. You will relish a challenge and thrive in a dynamic and demanding business turnaround environment.



In this role, you will :


  • Shape and drive the consumer centric insights agenda, delivering groundbreaking human insight that supports the development and execution of the TBG portfolio, brand building, innovation, and category strategy.
  • Be a strategic business partner, helping to influence decisions by providing timely relevant consumer and shopper -driven insight and connecting insights to business performance.
  • Work with the Business Intelligence Lead, help crystalise performance understanding and provide Leadership Team and ExComm level clarity as required with credibility.
  • Steer innovation and research expertise - design and implement agile methods and tools to build meaningful and differentiated innovation and design innovation process from opportunity discovery, concept development and assessment, pack development and early and late-stage consumer co-creation and evaluation.
  • Shape the consumer insight approach to key areas including insights identification, audience segmentation, and occasion-based insight and resulting consumer led jobs to be done.
  • Design and steer learning plans, ensuring we learn fast and adapt and optimise.
  • Work with Marketing Dr, instil a true consumer centric culture and support marketing & others with capability build.
  • Instil a ‘standing in the future’ and ‘outside in’ mindset, being ahead of trends/ cultural insight, and instilling a competitor nervousness and proactive wargaming approach to stress test our plans.
  • Lead the on-going equity tracking, extracting key insights and recommended actions and optimising the tools as needed.
  • Lead the execution of ad hoc projects as required.



The successful candidate will:


  • Have an experienced insight leader, with 8+ years’ experience and with an established track record in consumer insights (ad hoc led, with some continuous preferred), from within consumer/ FMCG industries.
  • Be Consumer obsessed and highly curious to get under the skin of our current and future consumer and how we can solve their struggles.
  • Have a Commercially minded and experienced in interpreting and synthesising multiple data sources into meaningful information and actionable insights for growth.
  • Be Resourceful, identifying new and cost-effective ways to embed consumer insight into our business on limited budgets.
  • Have A strong, credible communicator, who likes to keep things simple, simplifying the complex.
  • Be Able to work exceptionally cross functionally. Essential in Tropicana Brands Group is the ability to work across teams, sometimes as lead, sometimes as an input with the outcome of winning and flying together.
  • Be Wired for action, highly proactive, know when to move into execution & act with pace. You will be able to prepare insightful reports and presentations to tight deadlines.
  • Be Easily able to create strong networks internally and externally and keep insight capability fresh and relevant.
  • Be Restless around winning in the market and delivering top-tier performance. You have an ‘act like it is your business’ mentality and sense of accountability and passion.
  • Be Resilient, not easy stressed under pressure and able to move on and up when faced with setbacks.



This role is based in Farringdon and it will be required to come to the office 3 days a week.
