We represent vulnerable clients often deprived of their liberty in a care home or hospital and we provide advice and representation on all aspects of Mental Health and Mental Capacity Law.


Part-time and full-time roles available.


The Role


Your role will involve:


  • diary management
  • processing initial enquiries
  • attend meetings in person to take instructions from clients
  • prepare legal aid application
  • undertake legal research and instruct experts
  • advise clients
  • peruse evidence and medical reports
  • prepare court bundles
  • attend court hearings with counsel
  • prepare court applications
  • draft legal documents
  • support solicitors in the running of mental health cases
  • liaising with the court and third parties
  • any other duties as directed by the supervisor


We offer training to all employees and there are opportunities for progression for the right candidate. Mental Health Panel Membership is a bonus.

Salary

Dependent on experience.


Working hours

9:30am to 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. Hybrid working. Part-time or full-time position available.
