Operating at the executive level, we move some of the most significant and sophisticated deal makers across the industry, which means that Hayes & Partners internal hiring strategy leads us to target and hire very driven and intelligent individuals into the team. Therefore, success here in the internal hiring team is dependent upon developing critical market understanding, empathic communication, intellectual curiosity, an exceptional work ethic and determination.


You will be responsible for the hiring of graduates into the sales team and back office. As the business grows internationally, this will change into a global function where hiring will happen across multiple jurisdictions. You will have the opportunity to initiate and work alongside several projects with the People and Operations team and will have full visibility of end-to-end business hiring and training practices.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Using search techniques on platforms such as LinkedIn to attract and build relationships with passive candidates
  • Carefully qualifying candidates against specific role requirements and company culture
  • Managing your candidates’ expectations, ensuring they are kept engaged and informed throughout their experience.
  • Participating in face-to-face interviews, learning how to conduct competency, behavioral, and situational based interview scenarios.
  • Developing a strong market understanding both inside the search sector with direct competitors and also within our chosen sector specificities, to better identify appropriate candidature at both junior and senior level.


What we are looking for:


  • 2:1 or above at Batchelor’s level is preferred but not essential
  • Ambition, drive and strong interpersonal skills
  • Time management, efficiency and exceptional work ethic
  • Commercial awareness and a high level of EQ and IQ
  • A progressive and career minded personality that thrives on meritocracy and an autonomous environment
  • Competitive mentality with a proven track record, either from sporting or educational background.
  • Recruitment experience is not required
